How do I migrate my broadband

Migrating your broadband service from your provider to us can be a straightforward process. Here are the general steps you can follow:

  1. Check your current broadband contract: Before you start the migration process, make sure you know the details of your current broadband contract. This includes the end date, any early termination fees, and whether you’re still in a minimum term.
  2. Compare our broadband packages: Research and compare our different broadband packages to find the best deal for your needs. Consider factors such as speed, data allowance and price.
  3. Once you’ve compared broadband packages, choose the one you want to switch to.
  4. Select that you want to migrate your existing product in the final stage of your order when prompted. Please note we can only migrate certain products on a like for like basis. If you are upgrading form one technology to another, or from BT to an alternative network you may have to give notice on your existing service.
  5. We will arrange the migration of your broadband service. We will contact your current provider and arrange for the switch to take place.
  6. In most cases, you’ll be able to keep your existing broadband equipment, such as your router and modem. However, if this is not suitable we can provide a new router, or, simply purchase your own and we can provide the correct details to get you up and running. Get in touch if you are not sure if your current device is compatible.
  7. Once the migration is complete, test your new broadband connection to make sure everything is working correctly.

Remember, it’s important to check the terms and conditions of your current broadband contract before you start the migration process. You may be required to give notice before you can switch, or you may have to pay an early termination fee if you’re still in a minimum term.

Yes, but be careful if you need to retain your telephone number, we can help with this. Be sure to check this line is not in use for alarms, PDQs etc.

We can only migrate this line to a newer technology due to the BT switch off plans.

All of our services have a £99 connection fee, this covers installation and migration. This will appear on your first monthly bill.
